Metal Music Video Are Generally A Blast From The Past

One which always stands out in my opinion was the music video for Paradise City by Guns N’ Roses. I suppose the reason for that is the simpleness of the idea, and the white-colored jacket as well as jeans that Axl Rose is wearing. The video pans around a vacant stadium and shows all of the heavy metal band members standing around and cutting up, and then the music begins and the stadium is filled.

Then it gets into the heavier portion of the song when the heavy metal band starts tearing those hard guitar chords and Axl starts head banging, and although it was probably twenty years ago that I saw the video, I continue to think about it every now and then.

One of the other heavy metal videos I loved was Anti-Social by Anthrax, mainly because I loved the track, and I believed like they did not attempt to do to much in the music video, which for me personally would have taken away from the whole sense of the track. It will have been more difficult to focus on the track in case they tried to make the music video very flashy.

When the MTV show Headbangers Ball was first launched, I became completely thrilled, because it was a show dedicated completely to heavy metal videos which I would literally watch one after another. The only problem there was which the program was on late in the evening when it initially came out, and my mom and dad would not usually let me stay up and watch it.

Right now, I would usually find myself looking up metal music videos online to kind of take me back to a time period when everyday living was a lot simpler. It’s really a blast from the past that sometimes you just need.
