I Have To Do A Real Livelihood As My Ideas Are Taking Too Long To Work Than My Wallet Can Permit

I want to get a job. And fast because unless something occurs and I start making a regular income that we can live on I’m going to have to go on the game. This may be fun, but probably not terribly profitable unless huge numbers of ladies like their men on the comfortable side. Of course what I’d sooner do is continue to work from home, do my SEO and affiliate marketing stuff and allow myself to have Friday afternoons out by the river with my fishing tackle instead of anticipating a commute home.

I do love doing what I’m doing in performing SEO and affiliate marketing to promote my fishing tackle shop as it lets me to work at home, support my wife during her cancer treatment that has now ended as far as chemo and radiotherapy but she will be continuing treatment with Herceptin for the next 12 months. I am also able to drive the school run to take my lad to nursery in the afternoons. And of course, if I get a break, I can get my fishing rods and make a dash for the canal for a few hours.

I would lean to an SEO job that allows me to use the skill set that cost me so much to acquire, not just in paying for the course but the longer term cost in using my own money until I knew for sure I had been conned and the ‘guaranteed’ work that was assured in the initial advert was never going to materialise. And of course they are my current up to date skills, I exercise them everyday as performing SEO and affiliate marketing work has a very nice symbiosis.

However, though I have no doubt that my fishing tackle shop will make an income, it won’t occur soon as SEO takes a while to actually make a definite difference. It would be perfect if it was immediate as you could get it done and then be away with the fishing rods and leave the search engines to send the traffic to the website and then get paid commission from the affiliate marketing businesses paying commission from anglers getting fishing tackle from my partner shops.

So, I need to sort out a job. Which does mean that it scuppers the long term scheme of having stacks of affiliate marketing sites and doing the needed SEO for them but hey ho, schemes very rarely go smoothly and it would be great to go back to working with other people again. When I was going to Wolverhampton every day to take Mrs Izzard for radiotherapy, it was quite cool to be doing a daily drive again. I know it would become very hateful very soon, but at the moment it is quite an appealing idea.

Ooh, a thought! Maybe someone will pay me to work as a professional angler and fishing tackle industries will pay me masses of lucre to endorse their fishing rods, and if I get an iPad perhaps I can do SEO and affiliate marketing while I’m working by the water? Or it could be they won’t. Stick with the real world old chap and get a genuine job.
