80′s TV Shows
My six yr old daughter sat down last evening to watch her thirty minutes of tv and I was surprised about what she opted for. I abruptly found myself, sitting down beside her, watching Gummi Bears. Adventures of the Gummi Bears used to be one of my favorite 1980s Tv shows. Back in the 80s, it was incredibly famous and I can recall looking at the tv in absolute awe at quite a few shows that have found their way back into the lives of our kids. All of a sudden, The Smurfs are popular once more. I find myself instantly recalling all of the names of the Smurfs as well as the human characters that had been introduced into their world. I would have not guessed that I’d be seeing them once more. Who would have believed that a number of the cartoon 1980s Television shows would be available on DVD in the year 2010? Strolling the aisles of our local toy store this previous holidays, I was suddenly noticing Smurf collectible figurines and several stuffed Alf toys.
Out of nowhere, a number of our precious 80s Television shows are now being made into motion pictures. The cartoon, Transformers, which had been incredibly liked in my child years has been produced into a big box office hit recently. Miami Vice was made into a movie. 2 of the most famous and widely admired characters from 80s Tv shows were the famous Crockett and Tubbs. Everyone knew who they were and adored them. The cartoon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, was made into a number of different movies.
People who were raised in the 80s and looked forward to our cartoons or our sitcoms recall how ‘clean’ they formerly were. Families could have a seat and watch Television with each other. There wasn’t a fear of a few bad phrases or inappropriate innuendos slipping into the context. Our eighties Tv shows were something we remember as making us feel great when viewing them. Remember how moved we would feel when we watched the A-Team get out of a mess they’d gotten themselves into? All of us felt the pain of teenage years when seeing the Wonder Years. Who could ever forget how much we related to Kevin when he got dissed by Winnie Cooper?
Have writers all of a sudden cannot think of ideas for cartoons, movies and Tv shows? I don’t think so. I would like to think that they’re from my generation and have matured viewing the same awesome shows that I did. Perhaps those eighties Tv shows still stay in their minds and perhaps they are reminded of the ‘feel good’ vibes that they had experienced while watching them. Although it might not be possible to get away with all the very same versions that one time ruled on the channels, you possibly can see them advance and create a brand new ‘feel good’ feel for today’s generation.
There are a few eighties Television shows that I, personally, so want to see revived. Why not make an A-Team movie? Knight Rider might not have been successful as a TV sitcom, but that doesn’t mean that the rest would flunk. What i’m saying is, come on – it’s the 80s we are referring to! Everyone loves their 1980s songs; let’s get a number of the Television shows back too!
